She's wrinkly, She's the size of a cantelope, She doesn't have a name yet! She's Baby Girl Channing.


Weighing in at five and a half pounds BGC has been the perfect little girl. No crying, no whining, no crawling away to join the circus. BGC has spent her days napping only to wake up kicking and punching Mom...especially when Mom is ready for bed.


Due April 10th...Mom and Dad are looking forward to meeting their tiny tot. Dad is concerned that his little girl is going to be taller than he is..but then again...can you say WNBA....GO BGC!

Cara hails from the land of almonds and cheap wine....Modesto California. Now a NW girl...Cara works as a Occupational Therapist at Hand Therapy Northwest and has settled into a fabulous life of fun and not too much sun.

Meet the Players - Kent

He's big, he's funny (looking), he's training to become dad of the year...he's Kent (Papa C) Channing.

Hailing from the small town of Snohomish Kent met Cara on a train in Italy...and his life hasn't been the same since.

A short 3 years later they starting dating, 4 years after that they married...add another 3 years and they are about to become parents. Talk about the fast track to happiness. No one has the moves like Papa C.

The Channing Post is the place to get all news that is Channing. You may be asking yourself "who really cares about all things Channing?" Well that is a good question. And the answer would probably be family and close friends who can't wait to meet little Baby Girl Channing.

As many of you know we are anxiously awaiting the arrival BGC with the expected due date of April 10th. As we get closer our lives seem to be changing by the minute. Cara and I are working hard to get the house in order so we will be prepared for our screaming little bundle of joy.
